CHIANG MAI, Thailand (12 July 2022) – The new Meliá Chiang Mai’s indulgent Sunday brunch offers a host of Spanish, Mediterranean and Thai offerings including imported charcuterie, chilled prawns on ice, Mediterranean salads and a live cooking noodle station.
Dubbed ‘Brunch del Domingo’, the brunch is held on the first and last Sunday of the month from 11.30am – 3pm at the urban hotel’s all-day dining restaurant Laan Na Kitchen that serves authentic Mediterranean cuisine in a vibrant marketplace setting.
Tortilla Española, chorizo and bacon quiche, imported Manchego and artisan cheeses are among the brunch’s Mediterranean favorites. A butcher’s corner serves a selection of cold cuts including Ibérico ham (jamón), Spanish sausage (chorizo), chicken ham, and smoked fish.
The healthy Mediterranean salad bar affords a selection of Spanish olive oils, mixed olives and pickles. The live cooking noodle station has dishes such as soi curry noodle soup with grilled chicken and a large Paella pan cooked fideuá, a short pasta with seafood and served with aioli.
Delectable desserts include the hotel’s famous churros, fruit and marshmallow skewers, that can be dipped in a warm chocolate fountain. Homemade pastries, ice creams and more are also on offer.
Held twice a month from July until September 2022, the Sunday brunch is THB 1,499 nett per person, THB 750 nett per child aged six to 12 years, and free for children aged five and below. A two-hour free-flow package with house wine, draft beer and soft drinks is THB 1,000 nett per person. Prices are inclusive of 10% service charge and 7% government tax.
The next brunch will be held on 31 July, 7 August, 28 August, 4 September and 25 September 2022.
The hotel offers a “come four, pay three” promotion, meaning four guests can attend the brunch for the price of three guests, if booked at least one week in advance with a non-refundable deposit.
