Since 2020, ICEX certifies the authenticity and Spanish character of restaurants abroad through the “Restaurants from Spain” label. This award accredits the use of premium Spanish products and recognizes the ground-breaking chefs on Thailand’s gastronomic scene. The evaluation process is based on technical criteria inspired by auditing methods and quality Certifications that apply the principles of objectivity, verification, practicality and transparency. All aspects that define the identity of the restaurant are considered, including its culinary offer and menu, preparation processes, wines and spirits, dining experience as well as its communication and PR.
In the case of Thailand, there are 28 restaurants that call themselves Spanish, among which 10 have the “Restaurants from Spain” certificate. Today, we are happy to announce them
